Shit always hits at Friday
well got a little shocked this morning when one of the Project manager came over and told me he got ‘asked to leave’
that makes me ponders.. was it me who indirectly causing the final blow?
i feel that basically because of my mistake on Wednesday where i didn’t do a proper check on some back-end settings that caused the pilot test a total failure. Not that i’m not aware that the pilot is on Wednesday (even though no one told me or checked with me), i simply ignored the whole situation and worked on other prioritized stuffs.
And so they are going at it again on Friday.
Once again, having done the proper settings and checking again and again on the back-end, the time came and “BAM!”.
Failed.
Received the call and went on site as fast as i could. While travelling, i keep thinking what else wasn’t enabled……..
Must be some front-end settings, what could it be?
Ah-ha! The card range! Must be it.
So i reached the site, took out my laptop and rechecked the settings, that’s right!
The card range wasn’t set. So i promptly set the correct values and re-input it but..
it’s not working!! Σ(゜д゜|||)
Called my developer down and it took him like 1hr 30mins to reach and during this time, i’m constantly being bombarded by the merchant and users..
and so when he reached, he did the same things and found out that my values are incorrect!
reinput them and it’s finally working…
/facepalm
But it’s all too late. Another issue pop up whereby the new back-end settings isn’t compatitible with the old terminal applications..
Strike Three!
Totally chaos.. i wish i can maintain my composure the next time round..
I just feel like i’m losing myself in this pile of shit..
