Dropbox is an online file hosting service which uses cloud computing to enable users to store and share files and folders with others across the Internet using file synchronization.
The Dropbox client enables users to drop any file into a designated folder that is then synced to the cloud and to any other of the user’s computers with the Dropbox client.
Files in the Dropbox folder may then be shared with other Dropbox users or accessed from the web.
This service made sharing of files a lot easier.
